Today I had the best experience an author can have. I went to GEVA to see “I’ll be Geneseeing You” and saw my books for sale in the lobby giftshop. I didn’t know they were there, and it was quite an unexpected thrill.
The show, a spoof of Rochester by The Second City, was really funny. I especially enjoyed the skit about trying to find the Fast Ferry. Go see it if you can. Our performance also had an additional 20 minutes of improv. It was inspiring, watching creative minds at work.
We also saw the crows in Washington Square Park that everyone’s been talking about. Every tree was covered. It was really eerie! Now I’m wondering how they will survive the night in the single digits. I suppose by huddling together. Good advice for us all.
