If you’re out for a fall foliage drive, take a wander out to Marion. Just continue heading east on Rte. 441 out of Penfield. After about 8 miles you’ll come to the 4 corners of Walworth, and after another 5 miles you’ll be in Marion. Scott and Laura have done a great job fixing up an old storefront into a modern cafe.

 What I like best about the remodel is that they’ve kept just enough of the old building to give it character.  All new fixtures and lighting shine on one of the original brick walls, and they’ve uncovered a beautiful stone floor beneath some beat up linoleum.

Stop in for breakfast or lunch or a Friday fish fry. The cinnamon French toast is reason enough to make the trip.
