I’m not good at making New Year’s resolutions, nor at keeping them, but I have officially declared 2018 to be the Year of Unfinished Projects. Here’s my first success. I started making these hotpads a year ago October with my friend Shirley. She taught me how to do it, and I worked on them at her house. When it was time to go home all I had left to do was the binding. Instead of finishing them up that night, I waited until this month to sew the binding on both. It took me about 30 minutes. So all in all, this project took 15 months and 30 minutes.
