When did Special K take over the cereal world? I was trying to buy my box of Kix today at Wegmans, and all I could see was rows of Special K. I counted no less than 9 different types of Special K cereal – red berry, cinnamon pecan, etc. etc. My Kix had been booted out of its place at the end of the cereal aisle where I could always find it to the bottom shelf somewhere in the middle – cereal oblivion.

I don’t expect Wegmans to stock their shelves just for me, but isn’t it nice when the item you’re looking for is right in front of you at eye level? And isn’t it nice that the only thing I have to complain about today is cereal?
