This is what used to be my lawn. When I step on it, it’s crunchy. Lawns aren’t supposed to be crunchy, are they?

I water my flowers every day, but I don’t believe in watering the grass. How about you?

I think we would all agree that we desperately need rain. Some friends have suggested that I leave my converible top down as a guarantee of rain. Let me tell you that I’ve already tried that several years ago, and it does work. I went into Wegmans one day for “just a few items.” You know how that goes. I was oblivious to what was going on outside until I heard something over the loud speaker about a yellow car with the top down. I raced outside, but by that time the door pockets already had an inch of rain in them. Needless to say, I was soaked as well. It took a week for the car to dry out. So I don’t know if I’m willing to make the sacrifice. What would you do?
