Is it my imagination or are there more cherry trees in the Rochester area than there used to be? Besides seeing the trees in yards or in parks, I’ve been noticing them all over in parking lots. Check out Wegmans Eastway or Home Depot in Panorama. They both have dozens of beautiful trees blooming now.
Some day I hope to get to Washington D.C. for the cherry blossom festival, but until then our fellow Rochesterians have given us a lot to marvel at, and we haven’t even gotten to lilac time yet.
