Still traveling New York…
After he put up with my writers’ event in Gloversville, I had to throw Gary a bone, so we stopped at the Remington Arms Museum in Ilion. The museum is part of the actual gun factory, which is a huge brick building with barbed wire all the way around. It kind of looks like a maximum security prison. The museum wasn’t as boring as I expected after I found out that Remington made typewriters, sewing machines, and cash registers in addtion to the guns. The old typewriter was very cool, but I think I’ll stick to writing on the computer. Just think of the savings in white-out alone.
