It was a great day for walking on the canal path, but you could tell that fall is in the air. The ducks were hunkered down on the bank instead of swimming in the water. Isn’t it funny how they can twist their necks around to sleep? I heard the first flock of geese honking overhead too. I’m not sure if they were heading south, but they were flying in formation and making a lot of noise – kind of like Congress.
