Here is Unfinished Project #2. Technically this was finished about 10 years ago when I first made it, but it wasn’t finished right. The table runner was fun to make. It was made in the quilt-as-you-go method. That means that instead of piecing a top together and then quilting it to a filling and a backing, all three layers are quilted together from the beginning. What I never liked was the binding. I tried to take a shortcut and machine stitch the binding. It came out uneven and sloppy, and I was always embarrassed by it. So, this month I took the binding off and did it the correct way by hand. Voila! Unfinished Project #2 complete. It only took 10 years and 1 hour.
