I’m back to going to the gym again. I hadn’t been in almost 2 months for a lot of reasons (or excuses). I had a cold, I had a corn on the bottom of my foot, I was away, it was Christmas, etc., etc., etc.
It does feels good to be in a routine again, even if it means I’m getting up at 7:00 to get to the gym before the rest of my day begins. I was really sore for the first few days, and I don’t think I’m back to where I was before I took some time off, but that will happen.
Of course, when I took the first couple of days off, I didn’t think it was going to stretch to 2 months. It’s so easy to slack off on our healthy habits. Now, I’m back in the groove, and I’m going to try hard to stay ther. Next step: getting a new battery for my pedometer.
