The Webster Village Days is one of the smaller festivals around Rochester. I was there selling my books, and my church had a booth to gather support for our men and women in the military services.
I sold a few books, but even better was talking to some people who had already read my books and stopped by to say hello. Many people stopped by the church’s booth also just to talk about their loved ones in the military. So it may have been a small festival, but it was large in strenghening community ties.
And then there was the Prime Time Brass. This group paraded up and down Main St. in the dripping heat and put on quite a show. A small festival with a lot of heart.
