Day 178

My favorite place to be on a warm, summer night in Rochester is Frontier Field. There’s just something relaxing about sitting outside and feeling the rhythm of the game – pitch, hit, run, catch, repeat. I also like watching darkness slowly envelope the city, and I like to hear the train running in the background.

Then there’s the food. The first place I head when entering the stadium is the Red Osier for a roast beef sandwich. Later it’s a toss up between Cracker Jacks and ice cream. And the walking from the parking lot and up and down the stadium helped my go over the top with steps today.

Of course, the Red Wings are my team, win, lose or extra innings, but I have to admit I like watching a high scoring game. Tonight’s game did not disappoint. It ended 11-2. Unfortunately, you can guess which side the wings were on.
