Sometimes it’s not easy to be a blogger. I was getting some steps in today by vacuuming my swimming pool. If you own an inground pool, you know that the water is not always crystal clear when you open it in the spring. This year, we’ve had an abundance of frogs, and when I uncovered the skimmer basket, I encountered a pair of huge eyes and long legs. I thought this would make a good picture for the blog so I went to get my camera phone. By the time I got back, the frog was hiding so I put the camera phone into my pocket, thinking I would take his picture later. Long story short, I never got the picture, and the phone ended up in the skimmer basket along with the water, the worms and the algae. Right now I’m still trying to dry it out in a bag of rice.

Later in the day, my husband wanted to go to Home Depot. I love the big box stores for getting in steps, but while getting out of the car, my pedometer fell off, and went under the car next to ours.  My husband graciously (well, not really graciously) retrieved it for me. Did I mention that it was pouring rain?

Today, the life of this blogger was not easy.
