Another great day. I started the day with my daughters at the mother/daughter Pink Ribbon Walk at Ontario Beach Park to benefit the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. The weather was perfect – cool, but sunny – and the lake calm like yesterday. I especially liked the part of the walk that was on the hidden sidewalk. There’s a stretch of Beach Ave where the sidewalk is on the lake side of the houses instead of on the street side. You can’t see it from the road but can get to it only through certain access points starting at Clematis St. The view of the lake, the gardens and the houses from this sidewalk is spectacular. It’s one of Rochester’s hidden gems.
After the walk, my daughters treated me to breakfast at Jines on Park Ave. We were able to sit outside, another of my favorite things to do in Rochester.
I am blessed.
