Does your family have special Easter traditions? We always did, but when the grandparents died, we had to start making new traditions. Three years ago when Gary and I were in Florida for Easter, our daughters decided to get together, but they didn’t want to have the traditional ham dinner. They decided to invite some friends who didn’t really have any plans over for tacos. Thus was born a new tradition – Speaster – Spanish Easter.

Have you had to step into some new traditions? Sometimes it’s hard to let go of the former ways of doing things. The important thing is to hold on to the things that matter – family, sharing, caring, good food – and letting go of some of the details that don’t work anymore.
