There are lots of flowers blooming in Florida now. Two of my favorites are bougainvillea (don’t you just love saying bougainvillea?) and hibiscus.
Bougainvillea has a high salt tolerance and needs a winter temperature of at least 60 degrees so it thrives here in Florida. I’ve seen it in purple, pink, white and yellow.
Hibiscus, besides being beautiful, is used worldwide for making herbal tea.
But I’m starting to think about daffodils and lilacs. I guess it’s time for me to go home.
