Another false start. I can’t believe that I forgot to wear my pedometer to the gym. I didn’t realize it until I finished my weight training and stepped onto the treadmill. So it’s only Jan. 3 and I’m already into one of those “If a tree falls in the woods” situations. Do steps taken while I’m not wearing the pedometer count, and how to I give them a number? I decided to take the steps I counted on the treadmill on Jan. 4 and add it to my Jan. 3 total. That seems fair, and brought me up to 10,994. I think it’s also fair to say that I walked at least 300 steps at home and walking around the gym before getting on the treadmill so that gives me 11,294 for the day.
